Prince Harry has reportedly made a peace offering to his brother, Prince William, during his recent brief visit to the UK, according to a source close to the Duke of Sussex. The Royal is said to have deliberately chosen to stay near his elder brother at Coworth Park hotel in Ascot, Berkshire.
The Duke of Sussex notably opted to lodge at the Berkshire hotel while attending a two-day hearing at the High Court in London, concerning his ongoing fight to reinstate his police protection.

The luxury five-star hotel is conveniently located less than 20 minutes away from William and Kate's home, Adelaide Cottage, situated within the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The Berkshire hotel holds significant sentimental value for the brothers as it was where they spent the night before Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.
A close friend of Harry's suggested his choice of accommodation was communicated to William and Kate via security services and was perceived as a potential peace offering after years of estrangement.

The insider disclosed Harry had hoped to mend his strained relationship with William during his short trip back to the UK, according to the Express.
The source further added: "Harry really is keen to try to salvage some kind of relationship or even reopen dialogue. They have not had any full-length conversations or discussions since they had some time together around the Queen's passing.
"And some of us saw Harry being so close to his brother as a gesture of saying 'hey I am here, close by... what about us trying to work things out?'

"The sad thing is that many of us, within Harry's friends' circles, feel he wants to somehow make peace and return to talking terms."
Harry did not manage to meet with William or King Charles during his four-day stay in the UK, and an insider has shed light on why they believe the attempt at extending an "olive branch" was unsuccessful.
The friend said: "The problem is that so much has been said by him and his wife on TV – and with Netflix for millions of dollars in profit – which can never be taken back.
"While it felt the right thing for Harry to do to cleanse his soul of his darkest feelings on life in the monarchy, his brother and father didn't share the same outlook.
"Their view remains that a line, actually several lines, were crossed and there is no way of returning to how things were a decade ago."
Harry’s visit to Berkshire wasn’t entirely fruitless as he caught up with his former Army and school friends.
